The 2024 Virginia Louise McClure Music Performance Competition Winner
The winner of the 2024 Virginia Louise McClure Music Performance Competition is Haley Suprenant. She is a soprano, graduating this spring with a degree in Music Education at Jacksonville University. In addition to being a voice student with natural talent, she plays the violin in the Jacksonville University Orchestra and is a chorister at Grace Episcopal Church in Orange Park, Florida. She is praised for her ability to perform different musical styles with ease and good understanding and for her social skills in assisting volunteer singers at her church with vocal techniques and music. She plans to continue her study for a graduate degree, and she wants to use the winner prize for vocal pedagogy and solo books.
The 2024 winner recital is April 7, 3 PM at Terry Concert Hall, Jacksonville University.
