2017 Winner Michaela Wright
Michaela Wright is the winner for 2017. She is a senior at Jacksonville University where she studies privately with Dr. Jay Ivey for the Bachelor of Music degree in Performance. She is pursuing an education minor and currently serves as president of the Student National Association of Teaching of Singing(SNATS) at Jacksonville University. This year she took first place in the National Association of Teaching of Singing North Florida Chapter audition, in the category for fourth and fifth year college/independent classical female singers. She is an executive member of the Alpha Psi Omega Phi Iota Cast and maintains memberships in Phi Kappa Phi, Omicron Delta Kappa, the NSLS, Phi Kappa Lambda, the Jacksonville University GSA and is on the Dean's Council for the Fine Arts.
