2020 Winner Charly Anne Roper
Charly Anne Roper is a senior in Vocal Performance in the Division of Music at Jacksonville University. Her first experience of being on stage was at age 5. Music performance has been her destiny.
As an undergraduate she demonstrated her talent at the highest level in her major areas of study, developed strong musicianship, teaching abilities and leadership skills through many positions in the College of Fine Arts as well as through community outreach programs.
Her immediate goal is to continue her studies in music performance as a soprano in a graduate program. She aspires to be a professional opera singer and to bring classical music to the next generation of young musicians and to the general public.
She has a firm belief as to the importance of classical music in our culture and to the difference that she can make to change the hearts of all who listen.
